PromptReady — Privacy Policy

• Account information: your email address and password (stored securely, not in plain text).
• Child profile information: names you enter for child profiles, and the grade(s) selected for each.
• Progress data: which lesson prompts have been used and which competencies have been marked complete for each child profile.
• Photos: any images you choose to upload as proof of your child’s work.
• Payment information: subscription and billing details are processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

We use the information above to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including the lesson prompt generator and progress tracking
• Process subscription payments
• Communicate with you about your account (e.g., billing receipts, password resets, service updates)
• Send marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Stripe, to process payments
• Service providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., our database and hosting providers), who are contractually obligated to protect your information
• Law enforcement or legal authorities, only if required by law

We retain your account information and your children’s progress data for as long as your account remains active. If your subscription ends, this data is retained (not deleted) so you can pick up where you left off if you resubscribe. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@promptready.tech, or by using the account deletion option in your Billing settings.

PromptReady is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Child profile information (first names, grade level, progress data) is entered and controlled by the parent/guardian account holder.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may update your account information, delete uploaded photos, or delete your account at any time through your account settings. You may opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email you receive.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.
